Chris Smart

Chairman

Chris Smart is a founder and General Partner of Acacia Capital Partners a venture capital company which invests in technology companies across Europe. He has been active in venture investing for more than 20 years. In this time he has been actively involved with numerous companies with board roles in Shazam, Cambridge Display Technology, Solarflare, Mirics, Skinkers, European Microelectronics Academy and Cambridge Positioning Systems. Chris is also Chairman of Yakatak, See Change Films and Datasift, as well as a Governor of St Mary’s school in Cambridge, an advisor to Aptivate, and an Honorary Member of Magdalene College Cambridge.
James Davies

James Davies founded WePredict™ in January 2009 and has worked tirelessly to make sure that the talents and capabilities of the team have the greatest impact in the world. James has the ability to combine his creative and analytic skills to the benefit of the business, and perhaps most importantly he is optimistic and persistent. James conceived the statistical data model that Indico uses whilst working as an actuarial analyst with AXA and then with QBE. He manages WePredict's continued growth and leads its sales and service development efforts. James seeks a strong company culture that encourages WePredict's highly skilled workforce to expand their vision and capabilities.
Prof. Tim Davis

Director & Chief Analytics Officer
Former Quality & Safety Director, Jaguar Land Rover
Tim is an honorary professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick and has a Ph.D. in Statistical Science from the University of Birmingham. From 2001-2008 Tim was the Henry Ford Technical Fellow for Quality Engineering with Ford Motor Company and most recently Director of Quality & Automotive Safety at Jaguar Land Rover until 2010. He is a Chartered Statistician (CStat) and a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) London where he was previously Vice President. Tim is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), London.
Stuart Clarke

Director
Admiral Group PLC
Stuart Clarke joined Admiral Group PLC in 1995 after training as a chartered accountant and was Head of Finance during the Group's management buyout in 1999, before becoming the Group Company Secretary in 2004 when Admiral floated on the London Stock Exchange. After semi-retiring in 2009 Stuart continues to work with Admiral and is a Board member of a number of their subsidiaries.
Matt McElhattan

Investor Director
Matt McElhattan has more than a decade of experience in venture capital. He is Investment Director for Munich Re / Hartford Steam Boiler Ventures, the strategic corporate venture arm of Munich Re, one of the world's leading reinsurers. With his background, he combines the intellectual curiosity of an industrial engineer, the strategic perspective of a management consultant and the pragmatism of a realist who understands the challenge of technology transfer and adoption. In his 11 years with Chevron, Matt completed over 70 venture rounds and was a board observer for Chevron portfolio firms Modumetal, Soane Energy, Apprion, RealityMobile, and Sample6. Matt holds a BSc in industrial engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Gabriele Dini

Investor Director
Gabriele Dini is a Senior Investment Manager at Breed Reply, the early-stage investment arm of the Reply SpA group. He is an investment and corporate finance professional with a track record in life sciences and technology, specializing in bridging innovation and finance. He has a solid technical expertise with an MSc in biomedical engineering and experience in multinational academic and industrial environments. This is complemented by an MBA with a focus on strategy and finance as well as a Masters in Finance from London Business School. He has strong knowledge of product development and operations - including extensive venture capital experience from origination to due diligence, as well as deal structuring.
Oliver Cunningham

Oliver Cunningham has over 25 years experience in software and technology and over 15 yrs at Finance Director / CFO level. After graduating with a BSc in Finance and Law, Oliver qualified as with ACCA in 1992. Oliver developed the ability to bridge the gap from finance to commercial strategy and planning. He has extensive experience of multiple licensing models from perpetual to on-premise to SaaS. A proven effective manager, Oliver is responsible for the Finance, Legal and HR functions of We Predict as well as driving fundraising processes and profitability. He is FSA registered and is an approved director by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

Lord Hollick is a businessman, founder of the IPPR think tank and has been a member of the House of Lords since 1991 where he sits on the Economic Affairs Committee. He served as the Group Chief Executive of UBM PLC and its predecessor companies from 1974 to 2005. He was a Managing Director and Partner of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. between 2005 and 2010. He is a director of Honeywell Inc, Pro Sieben and BMG Music Rights Management. He is a member of the Advisory Boards of Jefferies Inc, Bertelsmann and The Royal Society and a partner at GP Bullhound.
Lori Sherer

Lori Sherer has more than 20 years of experience in the field of advanced analytics and decision science as an adviser, practitioner, and entrepreneur. Lori is a partner in Bain & Company’s San Francisco office and is a leader in Bain's Advanced Analytics and Digital practices. Prior to joining Bain in 2014, Lori co-founded and led McKinsey’s Insurance Solutions which designs, builds and deploys analytics solutions across the customer value chain. Lori honed her decision science experience as General Manager of the Enterprise Management division at FICO, and as Chief Strategy and New Applications Development Officer at RMS, a leading catastrophe risk modeling company.
Rick Wagoner

George Richard "Rick" Wagoner, Jr is an American businessman and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Motors. He received a B.A. in Economics from Duke University in 1975. He then attended Harvard Business School from which he received an MBA in 1977. Mr. Wagoner is a trustee of Duke University, Detroit Country Day School, the Board of Dean's Advisors of the Harvard Business School, and the Board of Directors of Catalyst. He is a member of The Business Council, The Business Roundtable, Detroit Renaissance Executive Committee and the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board.
Deborah Pruent

Ms. Debra A. Pruent has over 25 years of professional experience in market research. She served as the Chief Executive Officer of GfK Automotive, LLC and as the Chief Operating Officer of GfK Custom Research North America from 2006 to 2007. She served as Chief Operating Officer of GfK Research Matters AG and served as its Member of Management Board since 2008. She was also an extraordinary Professor of Statistics at Oakland University from 1988 to 1990. She holds degree an M.S. in Applied Statistics from Oakland University and a B.S. Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wayne State University.
Bill McCarthy

Bill brings more than 30 years of data and software product experience to the team. Since about 2007, Mr. McCarthy has been focused exclusively on the insurance industry. He built the industry’s leading geospatial data platform as CEO of Mapflow. He also brought the LexisNexis UK insurance business (having sold Mapflow to LexisNexis in 2013) to its position as the leading data provider to the P&C insurance market in the UK. Bill is currently focused on WePredict’s insurance propositions, in which our insuring partners use our expertise, tools and proprietary algorithms to support insurance products.
Richard Thompson

With over 15 years as a Senior Investment Executive with Finance Wales, Mr. Thompson specializes in investing for early-stage technology businesses. Previously Mr. Thompson was a Senior Consultant with BRE Ltd., the UK's leading research-based consultancy to the construction industry. He also served as Research Scientist for CSIRO, Melbourne.
